We're looking for an experienced SAP HCM Consultant to join a long-term program focused on HR transformation within a leading Hi-Tech (Discrete Manufacturing) environment. This role suits a senior consultant who enjoys collaborating with business stakeholders, shaping solutions in SAP S/4HANA, and ensuring optimal use of standard SAP functionality over custom development.
You'll be key in designing, customising, and supporting HR modules across new roll-outs and implementations-particularly around Time Writing for Financial Purposes.
Key ResponsibilitiesEngage directly with business teams to understand, challenge, and refine HR process requirements.
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and IT solution directions.
Lead design, customisation, testing, and key-user training for SAP HCM modules.
Provide functional expertise on SAP/Fiori time writing processes.
Contribute to the architectural roadmap and ensure alignment with standard SAP capabilities.
Collaborate within a Scaled Agile (DevOps) environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
Manage integrations with related systems (eg, finance, Workday).
Core Skills & Experience
? 5+ years of experience as an SAP HCM Consultant (SAP S/4HANA 2021 preferred).
? In-depth understanding of time writing processes in SAP (for financial purposes).
? Strong functional design and customising experience in SAP HCM/Fiori.
? Proven ability to translate business requirements into IT specifications.
? Exposure to integrations and cross-module collaboration.
? Experience in Discrete Manufacturing/Hi-Tech industry.
? Nice to have: familiarity with Workday.
