Job Description

SAP GTS Consultant - English Speaking. Remote Work with some onsite travel. Option to work part time or Full-time. Flexible Start Date from November 2025 Onwards. 12 Month Contract. END-CLIENT!

Our end-client based in Poland requires an SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) Consultant with in-depth know-how in the implementation of international customs and foreign trade processes, especially within the framework of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). Specialization in rollout projects in Eastern Europe with a focus on Polish customs regulations and their integration into existing SAP GTS landscapes. In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements in Poland, as well as operational experience in dealing with customs authorities and ATC systems.

Main Tasks:

  • Analysis and local process mapping in the field of customs and foreign trade
  • Implementation of Polish customs requirements in the SAP GTS system
  • Coordination with local stakeholders, customs brokers and authorities
  • Implementation of key user training and change management
  • Test management (SIT/UAT) & hypercare support after go-live

Must have experience in:
SAP GTS Modules:

  • Customs Management
  • Preference Management
  • Export Control (Compliance Management)
  • Electronic customs clearance (eCustoms Integration)

Country-specific expertise: Poland

  • Sound knowledge of Polish customs legislation (eg Ustawa Prawo Celne, EU Customs Code [UCC])
  • Experience with PL e-Customs/PUESC (Platforma Uslug Elektronicznych Skarbowo-Celnych)
  • Cooperation with Polish customs authorities and knowledge of relevant procedural codes (eg EX, IM, T1, T2L)

Project Rollouts

  • Implementation of local template adaptations for Poland as part of global rollouts
  • Localization and mapping of business processes (export/import)
  • Integration of SAP ECC/S/4HANA with SAP GTS for the Polish site

Technical Skills

  • SAP GTS Customizing & Integration (RFC, Plug-ins, BAdIs)
  • Communication with ATLAS, AES, PUESC via eDocument Framework/EDI/XML
  • SAP S/4HANA Readiness in the GTS Environment

Languages:

  • Must be fluent in English

Workload:

  • Flexible start date any time between November 2025 and January 2026.
  • 12-14 month contract
  • You can work either part time (a minimum of 2 days per week) or full time (a maximum of 5 days per week).
  • 8 hours per day
  • Must be willing to work onsite within Poland 1 week every 2 months. The client will cover travel expenses.
