Sap FI Consultant

A SAP FI Consultant is required for our client based in Manchester for an initial 3 month contract. Mainly remote, however site visits may be required during various phases of the project/dependent on project needs.

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant with expertise in S/4HANA Public Cloud to support their ongoing implementation and stabilization activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing existing system configurations, validating financial processes, and resolving issues identified during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support cutover.

This role requires strong functional knowledge of SAP Finance (FI) and hands-on experience working within the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, validate existing SAP FI configurations in the S/4HANA Public Cloud system.
• Analyse business processes and ensure alignment with standard S/4HANA Public Cloud best practices.
• Collaborate with business users and implementation partners to identify configuration gaps or process issues.
• Investigate and resolve UAT issues, including configuration fixes, data inconsistencies, and process validation.
• Support end-to-end testing, ensuring financial postings and integrations (eg, MM, SD) function as expected.
• Review Data and Cutover readiness plans
• Review Data Archiving proposals and provide feedback in terms of data retention and use cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handover to support and operations.
• Central Invoice Management and Invoice scanning Management solution
• S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics or native reporting support
• Understanding of Public Sector Management module beneficial
