SAP BTP Integration Suite Developer

Location: London/3-4 days on-site per week

Duration: 12 Months

Clearance: SC eligible candidates considered; SC cleared preferred.

Are you an experienced SAP BTP Integration Suite Developer looking for a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a high-profile UK Government programme? Our client, a reputable organisation supporting public sector initiatives, is hiring for a talented professional to deliver scalable, secure integration solutions across complex SAP and third-party systems.

What you'll be doing:
* Designing, building, testing, and deploying integration flows using SAP Integration Suite, with a focus on Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh.
* Developing iFlows to support vital government processes, connecting SAP S/4HANA with Legacy systems, HMRC APIs, and other public-sector platforms.
* Ensuring all integrations meet high standards of reliability, security, and maintainability.
* Working within an Agile team, participating in sprint planning, technical design sessions, and peer code reviews.
* Following government IT standards and secure coding practices.
* Producing clear technical documentation and architecture artefacts.
* Collaborating with teams to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

What you'll bring:
* Proven experience in designing and deploying integration flows within SAP BTP, especially CPI, API Management, and Event Mesh.
* Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, OData, and SFTP protocols.
* Solid Scripting skills, particularly with Groovy, and experience with message mapping.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
* Ability to produce comprehensive technical documentation.
* Experience working with government systems such as HMRC, DWP, or HMPPS is highly desirable.
* Eligibility for Security Check (SC) clearance; active SC preferred.
* Right to work in the UK.
