SAP ABAP CLOUD DEVELOPER PORTUGAL

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Cloud Developer to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions on the SAP S/4HANA platform. This role focuses on leveraging the latest SAP technologies-such as the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and Core Data Services (CDS)-to build scalable, high-performance applications. You'll collaborate closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and optimized system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications, enhancements, and interfaces using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

• Create, optimize, and manage Core Data Services (CDS) views for data modelling and reporting.

• Develop and maintain OData services to support integration with SAP Fiori and external systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements and technical best practices.

• Support clean-core principles and side-by-side extensibility for sustainable development.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including at least 1 year on S/4HANA projects.

• Proven experience with clean core development and side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Technical Skills:

• ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)

• Core Data Services (CDS)

• OData services

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA architecture

This position is based in our Braga office. Only candidates able to work on-site will be considered.
