SAP ABAP BPA (Workflow) Developer - English Speaking - Remote

Nicholas Bernard seek a SAP ABAP BPA Developer for an initial 3 month contract to start ASAP.

We are looking for an experienced ABAP BPA (Workflow) Developer to support an ongoing enhancement project within an SAP landscape. The role focuses on designing, enhancing, and supporting ABAP-based business process automation workflows, ensuring smooth approval processes and system-driven task automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP-based workflows (BPA/SAP Business Workflow)

• Implement and modify workflow templates (WS) and tasks (TS)

• Develop ABAP enhancements to support workflow logic

• Configure and manage event-driven workflows

• Implement agent determination and substitution rules

• Debug and troubleshoot workflow issues in production and test systems

• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders

• Support testing, transport management, and documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong ABAP development experience

• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Workflow (ABAP BPA)

• Experience with:

  • Workflow templates & tasks

  • Events and event linkage

  • Work items and inbox processing

  • Agent determination

• Solid debugging and problem-solving skills

• Experience working on enhancement projects

• Fluent English communication skills
