Job Description

Mackinnon Bruce International are partnered with an international manufacturer in the essential oils and natural products industry. We are seeking a Samples Coordinator to join their team at their state-of-the-art facility in Chertsey, Surrey.

The Role

This is a hands-on, operationally focused position sitting at the heart of the sample management process, working across logistics, sales, and quality control in a fast-paced, creative manufacturing environment.

  • Handle the receipt and shipping of incoming and outgoing samples, ensuring accurate logging and timely dispatch.
  • Liaise with logistics, sales, and QC teams to coordinate sample flow and communicate updates on delays or issues.
  • Correspond directly with customers and internal stakeholders to provide practical solutions to sample-related challenges.
  • Maintain a high standard of organisation across warehouse samples and associated areas.
  • Participate in sensory training, including an overview of olfactory families, aroma chemicals, and the evaluation of natural products.
The Opportunities

The Requirements
  • A university graduate with a genuine interest for flavours, fragrances, essential oils, and natural products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a self-motivated, flexible approach to work.
  • Good team working skills and a willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Basic laboratory skills are a plus.
