A leading and successful provider of analytical testing are seeking multiple Sample Receipt Technicians to join their Environmental Science Lab near Derby. Ideal for candidates looking to begin a career in a scientific environment.

Role Overview

• Receive, record, weigh, split and extract samples in preparation for analysis.
• Conduct all work in line with relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines including Good Lab Practice (GLP) and ISO17025.
• Temporary, Full time (39 hours per week), usually Monday Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM. Shifts may also be required Tuesday Saturday, earliest start time 6:30 AM, latest finish time 9:00 PM.
• Flexibility required to move onto a different shift rotation that may include evenings and weekends.
• Opportunities to go permanent and progress.
• Start Date ASAP.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Highly motivated with the desire to learn and progress.
• Experience working in a production or laboratory or similar high pace environment highly beneficial.
• Graduates of scientific disciplines encouraged to apply.
• Must be available to begin immediately in Burton on Trent.
