Job Description

Interim Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist (Remote)

Location: Remote (within Europe or the UK), with occasional travel to North Holland
Hours: 24-32 hours per week (starting October), with the option to scale up to 40 hours per week after the first month and potential for further increase in 2026

About the Role

The client is migrating from an old marketing system to Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud. The Legacy Salesforce environment will remain active until 2026 and requires continued support and maintenance until the migration is fully complete.

The client is looking for an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist to primarily handle support activities and ensure a thorough knowledge transfer as the current agency phases out. Your focus will be on keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while transferring expertise to the internal team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for the existing Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment.

  • Ensure knowledge transfer from the outgoing agency to internal teams.

  • Troubleshoot issues, document processes, and maintain operational stability.

  • Manage and execute ongoing campaigns.

  • Create and optimize queries and perform data analysis.

  • Evaluate and report on campaigns and marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journeys).

  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and SQL queries.

  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken).

  • Ability to work remotely, with the flexibility to travel to North Holland twice for on-site workshops.

  • Candidates must be based in Europe or the United Kingdom (applications from outside this region will not be considered).

  • Experience with migration projects or complex CRM environments is a plus.

  • Self-driven, proactive, and an excellent communicator.

  • Availability from October 1, 2025 for 24-32 hours per week, with the possibility to scale up to 40 hours per week after the first month, and potential for further increase in 2026.
