Who Are We?

The vision of the Smart-commerce team is to digitize brand owners and selling partners by providing a suite of product offerings across the business's lifecycle. We are building solutions to enable sellers to set up their websites & scale their independent online businesses, serving their customers effectively. Our goal is to be the one-stop shop for all e-commerce needs of small & medium D2C brands.

As part of the Smbhav announcement ( ), this team will build solutions to digitize SMBs.

Key job responsibilities

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Sales Specialist to help deliver our product offerings & solutions to sellers to succeed online. You should be comfortable with technology systems and able to gather actionable insights. You will identify opportunities to innovate with customers and influence the product roadmap. You should be relentlessly customer-focused & agile to shape this business from zero to one.

Your core responsibilities include:

  1. Understand products and services offered by SmartBiz and articulate their features and benefits to target sellers. Be the eyes & ears of the market to identify insights & product requirements.
  2. Pilot & experiment with different target groups to identify the most ideal customer set for our product.
  3. Act as a SME for 1 or 2 areas of the product, providing relevant insights & influencing the product roadmap (e.g., Catalog setup, Seller Analytics).
  4. Onboard the right set of sellers onto our product & establish processes to ensure quality of launch.
  5. Innovate continuously to improve efficiency across the sales funnel from lead to launch.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Background in solution selling or SaaS product initiatives/startups
  • Master's degree preferred in Marketing, Computer Science, or Commerce
