Teamworx are looking for an experienced sales rep / business developer for South Dublin

Domestic Wholesale / On Trade

Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

  • Base Salary: Up to €55,000
  • Annual Bonus: Up to €12,000

Role Overview

This is a key field-based sales role within our beverage distribution business. We are seeking an experienced On Trade sales professional with a strong Dublin network and a proven track record in business development. You will drive new account acquisition, strengthen existing customer relationships, and deliver profitable growth while managing and promoting our portfolio of global and local brands.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Grow revenue, volume, margin and market share across the assigned territory.
  • Proactively acquire new trade accounts and maximise opportunities within existing business.
  • Build trust and strong customer relationships through consultative selling, excellent product and trade knowledge, and best-in-class support.
  • Manage call files, call frequency and territory planning to maximise efficiency.
  • Lead customer sign-up and active utilisation of our online ordering and engagement portal, in line with company targets.
  • Achieve development and sales targets within allocated territory.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Logistics and Operations.
  • Consistently deliver on customer needs and proactively provide solutions to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in project initiatives at management's request to support improvement and growth.
  • Manage margin, discounts and promotions to deliver territory financial targets.
  • Deliver high standards of credit management across all customers.
  • Maintain high professional standards in attitude, appearance, behaviour and customer interaction.
  • Use customer and market insights to influence decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Present brand and category plans to customers and support activations, promotions and events.
  • Represent the company at trade and brand events as required.
  • Proven On Trade sales experience - Dublin city experience highly desirable.
  • Customer-centric, highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and grow a territory.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong sales, planning, organisation and time management abilities.
  • Positive, adaptable and a strong team player.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Good IT and numeracy skills.
  • Fluent English and a valid right to work in Ireland.
Desired Criteria
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits and the Irish drinks market.
  • Experience working within a field sales environment.
  • Strong credit control skills.
