We're seeking a fast learner eager to understand processes, approaches and products with a curiosity to learn and develop. The role demands you to have a professional sharp mind and the ability to support, advise, motivate, and learn from a high-performance sales organisation. You need to have a high team spirit and a willingness to travel throughout the UK landscape.

Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the centre of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. We have a wide range of investment strategies, from equities, fixed income, multi-assets and private markets, to meet investor demands and guide our customers in the right direction in asset selection while ensuring prudent ESG practices. NAM has around 900 employees and more than 475 Nordic and international institutional clients.

About this opportunity

You'll join the UK Sales team, a team of 4 professionals committed to Institutional and Wholesale distribution across the UK market. As a Sales Manager, you'll play a valuable role in representing NAM's values and investments' solutions to existing and new clients. The role is based in London, UK.

What you'll be doing:

  • Represent our company when meeting prospects, clients as well as developing relationships by understanding client needs
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our offerings and solutions
  • Reach company goals through effective planning, setting sales goals, examining performance data, markets' opportunities and projecting future performance
  • Continuously develop and learn effective sales tactics to meet revenue goals
  • Generate leads, and build and develop client relationships
  • Analyse markets' reports to increase understanding of business and identify sales trends

  • Proficient communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Effective team collaboration, ability to work execute responsibilities professionally and stakeholder management
  • Ability to travel
  • Committed willingness and interest to learn and respond to market changes


Your experience and background:

  • 5 years of experience within institutional or wholesale distribution or equivalent
  • A bachelors degree within the financial sector or equivalent
