Position: Sales ExecutiveWithin the Sales Support division at GA Telesis, the Inside Sales Team focuses on negotiating with suppliers to obtain goods, materials, and services at the best prices. Using detailed sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge of the aviation industry, the Sales Executive will be responsible for effectively communicating and maintaining professional relationships with vendors and customers. Reporting to the Sales Director, the ideal candidate should have experience in sales order processing, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and use personal drive to assist with strategic business planning for FSG (Flight Solution Group) and the company overall. This role is based in Leatherhead, UK.
Responsibilities:- Gather quotes on parts and services based on customer requirements.
- Fulfill quotes by sourcing from stock or brokering materials.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with customers.
- Maintain customer opportunities within Salesforce.
- Follow parts traceability requirements.
- Track shipments from freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery.
- Resolve discrepancies related to Non-Conforming Materials (NCO Cage).
- Forecast, track, and achieve sales revenue with gross margin projections.
- Travel may be required (less than 10%).
- At least 1 year of aviation inside sales experience.
- Effective communication and self-motivation skills.
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors and customers.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous sales experience.
- Experience with Quantum CRM and Salesforce.
- Experience working with ILS, Aeroxchange.
