Salary: £25,000 per annum, £55,000 OTE, Uncapped

Hours: 44 hours per week

Thanks to our hard work and continuous success, Lookers Mercedes-Benz of Eastbourne is expanding its sales team and is currently recruiting for an ambitious and experienced Sales Executive to join our enthusiastic and friendly team on site. As a Sales Executive, you will specialise in both New and Used car sales, focusing on providing a world-class customer motoring experience! You will work alongside our established passionate sales team of 7 Executives to ensure our customers always receive the best service.

Joining our hardworking sales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with colleagues and customers. Ben, our General Sales Manager, and his team will play a key part in your success through ongoing training and support, regular 1-to-1s, and in-house sales training. All of this will help to strengthen your knowledge and experience, allowing you to develop your skills and establish a strong career within the industry.

Our Sales Executives are the key points of contact and pay close attention to detail to understand customers' wants and needs.

Responsibilities
  • Communicating with customers via email, telephone, and in person, ensuring you create a welcoming environment at all times.
  • Listening attentively to customers' wants and needs to suggest suitable vehicles that match their requirements.
  • Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives.
  • Negotiating the final price for the sale.
  • Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale.
  • Liaising with all relevant departments throughout the sales process to ensure an efficient and smooth transaction.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated to get on with the job, and be passionate about their work. You will be expected to hit targets, so being ambitious and hard-working is essential.

Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade is preferred but not essential, as we are always looking for new and fresh talent to join our team. You will hold a full UK driving license, as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
