Client ProfileOur Client is a small to medium successful supplier of printed and plain bags primarily to the promotional sector. They are very active in this market and are now expanding into the retail/corporate sector where future growth lies.
Role SummaryThe successful candidate will be a business driven sales professional with experience in the retail/corporate sector. They should be able to bring a certain amount of business and drive medium term growth. First year sales expectations are realistic: £150k - £225k. As quoted by the Client: "I'm really looking for a person who has experience, is keen to reach a career level that their current employer is unlikely to offer, is business minded and who wants to make money in return for commitment, effort and hard work."
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting retail and corporate accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and nurture client relationships.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to offer competitive pricing and value added solutions.
- Track sales performance against targets and report progress to management.
- Proven sales experience in retail or corporate sectors, preferably in promotional or packaging industries.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to close deals independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Competitive commission structure with realistic targets.
- Potential equity award based on performance once established.
