About SANY Benelux:
SANY is a globally leading heavy industrial equipment manufacturer, renowned for innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. Our Benelux office in Rijswijk serves as a key hub for regional operations, customer support, and service excellence. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth across the Benelux region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company revenue and market share targets.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional performance and meet individual and team goals.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand SANY's customer base in the Benelux region.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions using SANY's product portfolio.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts and strategic partnerships.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
- Provide insights to the product and marketing teams to align offerings with market demands.
Team Development & Training:
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
- Set clear objectives and KPIs for the sales team, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Collaboration:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Work closely with the service, marketing, and product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience in the heavy machinery, construction equipment, or related industries is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
Language Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
Other Requirements:
- Dutch citizenship or EU work authorization.
- Willingness to travel within the Benelux region as needed.
