Sales Assistant (Museum Shop) - Student Position / Part-Time

We are an art publisher and operate a museum shop located in a modern fairytale castle in Vienna. Our product range includes art books, calendars, postcards, posters, art figures, models, and other creative souvenirs. Our customers are art-interested tourists from all over the world, as well as wholesale partners.

Job Description

We are looking for friendly and motivated Part-Time Sales Assistants to support our museum shop. This position is ideal for students who enjoy working in an international, cultural environment and interacting with visitors from different countries.

• Advising and assisting international customers in the museum shop
• Actively selling art-related products and souvenirs
• Operating the cash register and handling payments
• Presenting and restocking merchandise
• Keeping the shop tidy and visually appealing
• Answering basic questions about products and our fairytale castle in Vienna
• Supporting day-to-day shop operations

• No degree or previous work experience required
• Minimum age: 17 years
• Friendly, open, and service-oriented personality
• Enjoy working with tourists from different cultures
• Basic English skills (additional languages are a plus)
• Reliable and well-presented
