The Sales & Commercial Manager isresponsible for driving sales growth, delivering accurate project estimations,and ensuring strong commercial performance across all relocation projectswithin their region. Reporting to the Sales Director, the role combines sales,business development, and commercial management to secure new business, protectmargins, and deliver client satisfaction. The Sales & Commercial Managerwill lead on identifying opportunities, building relationships, providingaccurate costings, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with divisionaltargets.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, target, andconvert new business opportunities across domestic, commercial, andinternational relocations.
- Develop and maintainrelationships with prospective and existing clients, ensuring their needsare understood and met.
- Proactively identifyopportunities to upsell and cross-sell wider divisional services.
- Represent the businessat industry events, networking forums, and client meetings to increasevisibility and strengthen reputation.
- Support the DivisionalDirector with tendering and bid management for high-value contracts.
- Conduct site surveys toscope, measure, and price relocation projects accurately.
- Prepare and presentdetailed quotations, costings, and proposals aligned with divisionalpricing frameworks.
- Collaborate withoperational teams to ensure all estimations are commercially viable anddeliverable.
- Provide technical andcommercial expertise in client presentations, tenders, and bidsubmissions.
Commercial Management
- Manage regional P&Lperformance, ensuring delivery against divisional budget and margintargets.
- Apply robust commercialgovernance, cost control, and pricing practices.
- Regularly analysevariances and implement corrective actions to protect profitability.
- Ensure all activitiesare compliant with divisional frameworks, contractual obligations, andrisk management policies.
Project & Client Oversight
- Oversee regional projectdelivery from mobilisation through to completion.
- Act as the commercialpoint of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and governance.
- Collaborate withNational Account Managers to ensure regional delivery supports widerclient strategies.
- Monitor projectperformance to ensure SLA, compliance, and quality targets areconsistently achieved.
Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor projectand estimation staff to achieve divisional performance expectations.
- Support successionplanning and capability development in line with divisional peoplestrategies.

Performance will be measured against agreedfinancial, delivery, and client metrics that directly support divisionalobjectives:
