Job Description

Queensbridge Group Practice, a well-established, high-performing NHS GP surgery in the heart of Hackney, serving a diverse community of around 10,200 patients. We are a friendly, supportive training and teaching practice with a strong multi-professional team and a passion for delivering excellent, compassionate care.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient-focused GP to join our fantastic team for a 6-month fixed term post to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys working collaboratively, brings fresh ideas, and values continuity of care.

Queensbridge has a strong pedigree in being a training and teaching practice with Foundation and GP trainees as well as medical students, with opportunities for the post-holder to become involved.

Responsibilities

The role comprises:

  • 5 clinical sessions
  • Extra administrative supplement (20%) paid on top of sessional rate see below
  • 6 weeks annual leave pro rata
  • 1 week study leave pro rata
  • Competitive salary: £10,500-£12,000 per session (depending on experience and skill level). Real terms sessional rate with administration supplement: £12,600
