Application Deadline: 31 July 2025

Department: GPs

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: London Bridge

Description Rethink How General Practice Works. Help Lead the Change

We're building something different at Penrose Health-and we're looking for a forward-thinking GP to help us shape the future of Primary Care. This isn't your typical practice-based role. It's a high-impact, clinically led position based at our new centralised patient access hub near London Bridge.

You'll be providing clinical input, oversight, and leadership to a trained non-clinical triage team-streamlining care access for thousands of patients across South East London.

Why this role matters:
This role sits at the heart of a broader transformation programme, influencing not just our service-but helping shape national standards in primary care delivery. You'll be part of a live case study, demonstrating how smarter systems, supported by experienced clinicians and tech-enabled processes, can truly improve population-level care.
What you'll do:
  • Provide clinical oversight and support to our full-time team of trained call handlers
  • Guide decision-making on complex queries, escalations, and risk management
  • Share clinical input to enhance our in-house, data-informed triage platform (including AI tools)
  • Carry out daily telephone triage, with minimal admin and no home visits
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to refine and optimise our operating model
  • Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and innovation projects

Who you are:
  • GMC-registered GP with a passion for improving care at scale
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
  • Motivated to challenge the status quo and build better systems for patients and staff

What we offer:
  • Highly competitive salary - £100k+, with future growth opportunities
  • Portfolio role with options for clinical sessions in South East London
  • Monday-Friday, flexible working hours
  • 6 weeks annual leave + study leave
  • Dynamic and supportive 40+ GP network
  • A rare chance to combine clinical leadership, innovation, and impact
