We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GPto join our friendly and forward-thinking teams at HaLo PCN.

Main duties of the jobWe are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative GP to joinour Primary Care Network team for 6 sessions per week. The post-holder will:
- Support same-day access within the network withpredominately on-the-day appointments.
- Complete their associated clinicaladministration and documentation.
- Work across two practice teams.
- Cover Standard Network Hours as part of theirworking week likely to include a later start and finish. Working hours to bediscussed at interview.
- We would not expect you to manage a patient list.

HaLo PCN is a thriving network of 2 GP practices in the St Albans area. With over 30,000 patients between them, the PCN is led by our Clinical Directors and supported by our PCN Manager, working in partnership with our Practice Managers.

The postholder will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care services, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting face-to-face, telephone and online consultations with patients
- Managing a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, including chronic disease management and acute presentations
- Undertaking patient examinations, investigations, diagnosis, and treatment
- Prescribing safely and effectively, in line with current practice and clinical guidelines
- Supporting health promotion and preventative medicine initiatives
- Referring patients appropriately to secondary care or other healthcare providers
- Contributing to practice audits, QOF, IIF, CQC compliance, and clinical governance
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical records in accordance with best practice and legal requirements
- Participating in regular clinical meetings, case discussions and practice development
- GMC registration with a licence to practise.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and teamwork.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to change in a modern NHS environment.
- Experience of working within a nursing team.
- Experience of dealing with vulnerable patients.
- Experience of working in a GP practice.
- Special clinical interests that complement the needs of the practice.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary Primary Care team.
- Commitment to high quality, patient centred care.
- Experience in chronic disease management and QOF.
- Experience of working with EMIS Web Clinical Systems.
- Keeping up with CPD and good knowledge of current guidelines.
