Salaried GP

Salaried GP post at West View Millennium Surgery, a training practice serving over 7,500 patients, advertised by the Hartlepool and Stockton Health GP Federation on the practice's behalf. The work centres on routine and urgent consultations, long-term condition management, shared home visits and the duty doctor rota. Sessions are flexible, with 6 to 8 preferred but negotiable, and newly qualified GPs receive mentoring. A CCT or equivalent and an NHS Performers List entry are required.

What the job involves

• Routine and urgent GP consultations
• Long-term condition management
• Home visits on a shared basis
• Participation in the duty doctor rota
• Managing clinical correspondence, referrals and prescriptions
• Supporting clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
• Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care
• Contributing to education and teaching activities where appropriate

Qualifications

• MRCGP
• CCT or equivalent

Registration & licences

• GMC registration with licence to practise
• Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
