Overview

Responsibilities

• Appointments are typically focused on a single issue per consultation, allowing for manageable workloads and continuity of care.
• Role includes responsibility for a designated patient list, including follow-up care, management of new health concerns, and referrals to secondary care services where appropriate.

Working terms and benefits

• €85 per hour - €110,000 per annum for 2.5 days per week.
• 20 hours per week across four days
• Option to increase to 25 hours across five days if preferred

• 15-minute consultations
• Strong support structure for EU/UK trained GPs transitioning into Irish general practice

Practice context

The practice has extensive experience supporting doctors and currently has several EU and UK trained GPs working successfully within the team.

Qualifications

• To be eligible for Irish Medical Council specialist registration under the GP speciality.
• UK trained and CCt'd doctors would have a straightforward path to registration.
