Salaried GP - Stewarton Medical Practice 5 Sessions Per Week

Stewarton Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our friendly, forward thinking team.

About the Area

Stewarton is a thriving and growing commuter town with excellent road and rail links, located just 15 minutes from Silverburn, Glasgow. We are the sole GP practice serving the area, with a patient list of approximately 11,000 and low levels of deprivation. While we enjoy a semi rural setting, we are within 15 minutes' drive of University Hospital Crosshouse, Kilmarnock.

About the Practice

Our expanding and supportive team currently comprises nine GPs, two Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), and two Practice Nurses, complemented by a wide extended multidisciplinary team (MDT) including:

• District Nurses (DNs) and Health Visitors (HVs)
• Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) and Healthcare Support Workers (HCSWs)
• Pharmacy team, Physiotherapist, and Mental Health Practitioner (MHP)
• Community Link Worker and Financial Inclusion Officer

We offer a blend of pre bookable face to face and telephone consultations alongside on the day urgent appointments. Each day, a duty GP or ANP manages home visits and any urgent clinical matters.

Our Culture

We are a dedicated, close knit team who take pride in delivering high quality, patient centred care. We meet daily for an informal coffee and catch up after morning surgery.
