Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed team player to join our fantastic practice team.

We offer a supportive learning environment for all our clinical staff.

We are looking for a salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team due to the relocation of one of our existing salaried GPs.

Main duties of the job
  • 15 min appointment slots
  • Priorities for work/life balance.
  • Very occasional home visits.
  • Paramedic Home Visiting Services.
  • Practice Pharmacy team reducing prescription workloads.
  • Rapid Health automated triage service meaning little involvement in triage.
  • A dedicated Administrative Team reducing letters.
  • Training practice.
  • EMIS Web.
  • There is also opportunity for overtime when providing holiday cover.
  • low staff turnover across all areas

Job responsibilities
  • Provide a full range of general medical services, including face-to-face and telephone.
  • Manage a varied clinical caseload across all age groups
  • Undertake home visits where clinically appropriate
  • Prescribe safely and effectively in line with local and national guidelines
  • Refer patients to secondary care and other services as required
  • Participate in duty doctor
  • Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records using EMIS
  • Participate in safeguarding processes for both children and vulnerable adults
Person Specification Qualifications
  • MRCGP
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in teams
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the differences between a partner and a salaried doctor
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport
  • Adaptable to change
  • Available to undertake the sessional requirements of the Job Description
  • Experience working within a Primary Care Network (PCN)
  • Interest or additional qualifications in a specialist area
  • Experience supervising or mentoring trainees, medical students, or allied health professionals
