Whitchurch Road Surgery is a friendly, 3-partner practice with an approx. 8,000 patient list, based in a newly built, modern medical centre on Sachville Avenue, Gabalfa (with an on-site pharmacy and dedicated treatment areas, including space for minor surgery). We care for a diverse community, including a significant student population, and pride ourselves on accessible, continuity-focused general practice.

The role

We're looking for a compassionate, team-minded Salaried GP for 4 sessions per week. Session days are flexible. You'll join an established multidisciplinary team and contribute to high-quality, patient-centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Routine and same-day clinics, long-term condition management, and results handling
• Shared duty sessions within a balanced rota
• Prescribing in line with local and national guidance
• Contribute to MDT meetings, safety huddles and QI projects
• Participate in clinical governance, significant event learning, and audit

About you

• GMC-registered GP with CCT (or within 6 months of CCT) and MRCGP (or equivalent)
• Eligible for inclusion on the Cardiff & Vale performers list
• Committed to equitable, continuity-based care and collaborative team working
• Interest in teaching, student health, or a subspecialty welcome (but not essential)
