Banbury CrossHealth Centre is a 42000 patient practice in the centre of Banbury. We providehigh quality care at scale whilst also being a warm and friendly place to work.
High-qualitysupport is given to ensure plenty of time to focus on clinical work andprofessional development.
Work plan: 12 x15-minute routine appointments per session.
Locallyprovided Home Visiting service. Less than 1 visit per week typically.
6 weeks annualleave/1 week study leave pro rata
Extra annualleave well-being day.
Our surgeryhours are 08 30.
In-houseeducational program. Alternating weekly clinical and GP meetings.
No out of hoursor weekend commitments.
Daily debriefover coffee for all clinicians.
We are a trainingand research practice.
Fullmultidisciplinary team (Nursing team, Pharmacists, AHPs, Physios, MHP).

Main duties of the jobThe Person:
We are lookingto appoint 2-3 GPs (working a minimum of 5 sessions) who are motivated,independent, and interested in providing high quality clinical services to avaried and deprived population. The successful applicant will be expected towork flexibly across the different sites and subject to agreement this mayinclude some weekend hours in their pattern of work.
The Practice has ahigh-achieving QOF track record and is closely involved in local GP-ledcommissioning, with mostly paperless administration; our main practice systemis EMIS Web, and our GPs also use Adastra, Front Desk, and Docman regularly.

Job responsibilitiesWeare looking for an GP who is able to fulfil all the various aspectsof day-to-day general practice at our large surgery in Banbury.
This would include covering care homes/private school ward rounds, supervising GP registrars/F2s and supervising/advising our wide and varied mix of allied health professionals. The right person will have experience in managing their own patient list and assisting with meeting QOF targets.
