Salaried GP

We are looking for a 6-session salaried GP to join our team, working on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

We are a team of 5 Partners, 3 salaried GPs, with excellent nursing and admin teams. Our practice is well supported by a successful frailty team and a wide range of ARRS staff. We have a growing patient list of over 11,500 and pride ourselves on our ethos of Excellent Patient Care and being a Great Place to Work.

Main duties of the job

Please see the attached job description for full details. The role includes providing a full range of GMS services, participating in on-call duties as part of the GP team during core hours, and engaging in activities to maximize income through enhanced services, QIS, QOF, etc. You will also be responsible for clinical audits, medicals, and reports for patients registered at Captain French Surgery.

As a salaried GP, you will have your own patient list, a fair workload distribution, and 15-minute routine appointments.

Job responsibilities

Key areas and responsibilities:

Clinical

• Provide a full range of general medical services based on patient needs
• Participate in and maximize income via Enhanced Services, QOF, LES, and IIF, taking responsibility for designated areas
• Provide on-call duty services as part of the GP clinical team during core hours
• Participate in clinical audits and governance
• Complete medical reports and other documentation for registered patients

Education

• Supervise clinical staff, including nurses, registrars, and medical students
• Maintain personal professional development through a personal education plan, professional requirements, and appraisal

• GMC Registered
• Included on the Performers Register
