£47,000 - £105,000 per annum NHS pension + 7 wks a/l + study leave

Overview

An outstanding opportunity to join a visionary group of practices in Scarborough, known for their adaptive and flexible approach to General Practice, effectively meeting modern demands.

Practice Model

• Eliminated Duty Doctor setup, sharing acute patient needs among all GPs with same-day appointments
• Evenings and weekends covered by ANPs, allowing GPs to work standard hours
• Support functions include centralized admin, medicines management, and call-handling, enabling staff to focus on patient care

Candidate Profile

• Open to newly qualified GPs (including Tier 2 visa sponsorship) and experienced GPs
• Current team ranges from recent graduates to highly experienced practitioners

Location & Practice Environment

Location: Scarborough

The surgery:

• Progressive, dynamic approach within a traditional setting
• Focus on reducing GP workload via central admin, home-visiting ANPs, and no Duty Doctor
• No evening or weekend work required
• Regular coffee breaks and a multidisciplinary support team including ANPs, Mental Health professionals, GP Assistants, Pharmacists, and FCP
• Uses SystmOne software

Your Role

• 4 or more sessions per week, with flexible start and finish times
• Patient load: approximately 14 in the morning, 13 in the afternoon, plus emergency slots if needed
• Encouraged to develop special interests, especially in minor surgery and women's health
• Must be GMC registered and on the UK Performers List
