Henmore Healthis seeking a motivated Salaried GP who is either an approved EducationalSupervisor, an experienced Clinical Supervisor or an experienced GP with thedrive and commitment to become an Educational Supervisor within 18 months ofjoining us.
We know that the role is stilloften referred to as GP Trainer, and that may be the term candidates recognise.Formally, however, this is an Educational Supervisor role, with the opportunityto help shape training across Ashbourne and Brailsford.
Main duties of the jobThis role issuitable for a GP who wants to combine high-quality clinical care with a clearcommitment to education, supervision and development of future GPs. We are keento build resilience in our training capacity and need more than one trainerwithin the practice as our training offer grows.
You will:
- Provide routine and on-the-day GP appointments across Ashbourne and Brailsford
- Managelong-term conditions, complex patients and continuity of care within awell-supported system
- Participate in clinical meetings, peer support and shared decision-making
- Workcollaboratively with ANPs, nurses, pharmacists, ARRS colleagues and the widerpractice team
- Contribute to service improvement, quality initiatives and practical clinicalgovernance
- Support the development of education, supervision and training across thepractice
If you are notalready an Educational Supervisor, you must be prepared to:
- Applyfor and join the very next cohort for Educational Supervisor training programmeavailable after appointment
- Showclear evidence of commitment, momentum and follow-through in progressing thisqualification
We will support the right candidateto complete the programme, including practical support, supervision, protecteddevelopment discussions and integration into our training infrastructure.

Job responsibilitiesEducation and Training Leadership
You must be an approved Educational Supervisor, or motivated to become one within 18 months of appointment.
- Support and develop our registrar programme
- Support training delivery across Ashbourne and Brailsford practices
- Provide clinical supervision, educational governance and trainer leadership
- Work closely with senior clinicians to ensure a high quality, supportive training environment quality, supportive training environment

This role will strongly appeal to a GP who enjoys:
- Clinical Governance, legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Writing, refining and embedding policy and Clinical Protocols/SOPs
- Translating national guidance into safe, workable local systems
- Leading quality improvement projects that genuinely improve care
You will work closely with:
- The Standards Committee
- Clinical Governance colleagues
- HR & Compliance Manager
- The CEO and Managing Director as fellow Executive Officers
and play a central role in shaping how Henmore delivers safe, compliant and high-quality care at scale.
Person Specification Qualifications- GMC registration
- NHS National Performers List registration
- Medical defence organisation registration
- 2 years post-CCT
- Approved Educational Supervisor
