We have a vacancy for a Maternity Locum GP(s) for 6 sessions to join our team in Penarth Healthcare Partnership, preferably to include a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. You would work in a purpose-built high-quality environment with a close-knit team of clinicians, who meet daily to share best practice and offer support. The set-up of the practice means GP workload is well managed and paper light.

Penarth Healthcare Partnership is a large practice (list size 16,000+) based in the Eastern Vale Cluster. The clinical team includes 6 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GP, 2 Practice Pharmacists, 1 ANP, 4 Practice Nurses and 2 HCA. We are supported by an excellent Docman /workflow team, dedicated reception, and prescribing team, and are led by a dynamic management team.

We are an established training practice for GP residents and medical students. We have strong links with Cardiff University with one partner being a Community Clinical Lecturer. We are dedicated to teaching and providing a supportive environment to everyone who joins us.

We provide a full range of enhanced services to our patients including minor surgery, LARC/ Coil contraception, nursing home enhanced care and shared care monitoring and a specialist substance misuse clinic. One of our partners is an elected member of the Bro Taf LMC.
