About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Safeguarding & Wellbeing Coordinator to join the EFI Group. Working as part of the Personal Progression Team, you will play a key role in supporting student welfare, coordinating safeguarding and wellbeing interventions, and ensuring students receive timely support and referrals.

As a key safeguarding contact, you will work closely with staff, students, parents, and external agencies to help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about student wellbeing, safeguarding, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

About you

Qualifications: GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above, with evidence of ongoing professional development in safeguarding, wellbeing, or student support. First Aid and safeguarding qualifications (or willingness to undertake training) are desirable.

Experience: Proven experience working in a safeguarding, pastoral, wellbeing, or student support role, ideally within an education or youth-focused environment. Experience coordinating casework, interventions, or student support processes is desirable.

Expertise: Strong understanding of safeguarding, pastoral care, wellbeing, equality, diversity, and inclusion, with knowledge of the challenges and support needs of young people in education.

Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, assess needs, and coordinate effective support for students.

Values: Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and student success, with a compassionate, professional, and collaborative approach that promotes positive outcomes for all learners.

If you feel your skills and experience would fit well within our team and you meet many, but not all of our listed qualifications for this role, please apply or get in touch with our Recruitment Team to discuss further.
