Company Overview
Our client is embarking on a global ERP implementation and is seeking an experienced RTR Process Lead to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a key role in the finance transformation programme, offering a great opportunity to work across global projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Role Overview
Reporting into the Finance Programme Manager, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of the Record to Report function as part of the global ERP rollout. This position requires someone with deep GL (general ledger) expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to provide control and assurance to a complex financial structure. The RTR Lead will need to navigate system limitations, support audits, and provide clear context to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RTR workstreams within the ERP implementation project.
Manage and support General Ledger (GL) processes, including month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.
Support and explain audit controls and financial processes to auditors and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including payroll, fixed assets, receivables, and payables.
Support the creation and implementation of new legal entities within the finance system.
Ensure financial controls are in place and are being adhered to across all regions.
Collaborate with global stakeholders and manage competing priorities with a flexible, solutions-driven mindset.
Provide insights through PowerBI dashboards; assess outputs and data trends.
Participate in UAT, system testing, and issue tracking using Jira or DevOps.
Interpret and communicate systems limitations and business decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
Key Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with the General Ledger and end-to-end RTR processes.
Experience supporting audits and implementing financial controls.
Solid understanding of payroll, fixed assets, receivables, and payables.
Previous experience in a project environment, particularly with ERP transformations (ERP system used is not critical).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - ability to handle pushback and contextualise decisions.
Strong familiarity with PowerBI, including interpreting dashboard outputs.
Experience with Jira or DevOps for issue management is advantageous.
Flexible to work across global time zones when needed.
Fast-paced environment experience; able to hit the ground running.
