RQ (JS) - Senior Family Engagement Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Family Engagement Officer to join our Early Intervention, Prevention, and SEND team. In this role, you will play a key part in engaging families, building positive relationships, and providing front of house management at our children's centre. You will ensure families feel welcomed and supported, help them access local services, and maintain accurate data on family records.

• Engage and build relationships with families at the point of entry to the service.
• Manage the reception area and ensure a welcoming and safe environment.
• Provide information, advice, and guidance on childcare, health, and financial matters.
• Coordinate the 'Your Bump and Beyond' ante natal program.
• Maintain accurate data on family records and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
• Collaborate with professionals across health, education, and social care to support families.

• Strong communication and customer care skills.
• Experience in a similar role or working with families in a community setting.
• Excellent ICT skills, including experience with data management systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection practices.
