Job Description
Rota Nanny - UHNW Family, London & Surrey (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)

A warm, informal UHNW family based in London is seeking an experienced and engaging Rota Nanny to join their established childcare team. The role will involve caring for three happy, healthy boys aged 9, 6 and 5, within a fully staffed household where collaboration and a positive team dynamic are key. The boys are in full-time education and thrive on routine, structure, and active lifestyles. The family is keen to find a nanny who will take a proactive and creative approach to planning stimulating, age appropriate activities that support their development, while ensuring they enjoy plenty of fresh air, social interaction, and fun.

The Role

This is a 24/7 rota position, working two weeks on and two weeks off, alongside a team of four rota nannies (with two on duty at any one time). The role will be a blend of sole charge and shared care, working closely with a Norland trained nanny and the wider household team. The family leads a busy but relaxed lifestyle and values a calm, organised, and adaptable nanny who can seamlessly integrate into their routine. You will be responsible for supporting the boys' daily schedules, organising activities and playdates, preparing nutritious meals, and encouraging good manners and positive behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality care for three school-aged boys
  • Planning engaging, educational, and active activities
  • Supporting and developing routines that promote wellbeing and development
  • Organising outings, playdates, and extracurricular activities
  • Preparing healthy, balanced meals
  • Packing/unpacking for school and travel
  • Travelling with the family during holidays
  • Working collaboratively with co-nannies and household staff
The Ideal Nanny
  • Highly experienced within UHNW/private households
  • Warm, kind, patient, and emotionally intelligent
  • Organised, proactive, and flexible in approach
  • A confident team player who thrives in a rota environment
  • Passionate about child development and education
  • Energetic and happy to encourage an active, outdoor lifestyle
Accommodation & Travel
  • Private bedroom and bathroom provided whilst on duty in London
  • Occasional room sharing with a child may be required when travelling or during guest stays
  • Weekend travel to the family's Surrey residence
  • International travel required during school holidays, including Europe and the US (regular trips include France in summer, skiing in February, and Miami over Easter/Christmas)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a polished and professional nanny seeking a long-term role within a respectful, down-to-earth family who truly value their team and prioritise a happy, supportive working environment.
