Join us as a Rooms Management Graduate at 45 Park Lane, recognised as one of The Sunday Times Top 10 Best Places to Work for in 2024 & 2025 and Hotel of the year - London at the 2024 AA Hospitality Awards. We strive to build a culture where inclusiveness is part of our DNA, reflected in our values of passion, personality, respect, working together, and creativity. We believe that a variety of perspectives enriches our culture and drives our success. We care about your career and offer a unique opportunity to become celebrated as the best in your field, learning from colleagues and through our award-winning learning academy to achieve high standards of craft, service, and leadership.

What you'll do

As a Rooms Management Graduate you'll enjoy your work and take pride in delighting our guests:

  • As a Rooms Management Graduate, you will complete an intensive training programme within our Rooms Division to develop and obtain the key skills to become a successful manager in the future.
  • You will assist the supervisors and assistant managers in the correct manning of their departments, ensuring that staffing levels match current and future business needs, and that productivity is optimised through proper scheduling and holiday planning.
  • Through visible management, you will ensure high levels of motivation and morale in the Rooms Division teams.
  • You will monitor, with the Front Office Manager support, the cycle of reservations, guest billing and payment, ensuring 100% accuracy.
  • You will promote excellent public relations with hotel guests and monitor their comments, complaints and suggestions to make corrective suggestions to the Front Office Manager.

The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a Rooms Management Graduate, but we will provide specifics on how we care for our hotel.

What you'll bring
  • Preferably you will have a Hotel School Degree or Diploma.
  • Our values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity guide us each day. As a Food & Beverage Graduate you'll have the opportunity to bring these to life and continue to create our legacy.
  • Communication is essential to keep our departments running smoothly. You have strong communication skills with a customer service mindset.
  • English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
What you'll get
  • Complimentary Stays: Enjoy complimentary stays with breakfast at Dorchester Collection Hotels every year.
  • Discounts: Discounts at hotels and various high street and online shops.
  • Employee Perks: Enrol from day 1 into the Royal London Private Pension scheme (we contribute 8% towards your pension); benefit from Seasonal ticket loan, rental deposit scheme, private financial advice, and eye care vouchers.
  • Training and Development: Access apprenticeships from Level 2 to Hospitality Degree Level 5; partner with nationally recognised Apprenticeship providers.
  • Social Events: Participate in events including a summer party, winter ball, pub quizzes, and cultural/milestone celebrations.
  • Referral Bonus: Earn a £1000 bonus when you refer a friend.
  • Well-being Support: Access immediate well-being advice because we care about our employees.

We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants. If you need us to do anything to support you during the recruitment process (such as adjustments to how you apply, alternative formats of information, or adjustments to the assessment process), please call the People & Culture team on or email so that we can discuss how we can support you through this process.
