Room Leader

Overview

The nursery day is full of activity, creativity, and exploration. Children take part in play-based learning, structured activities, and outdoor experiences that support their development across the EYFS framework. Before You Apply

• This role requires recent experience working in a nursery, ideally supporting or leading a room
• Applicants must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• You should be confident organising daily routines and guiding practitioners within a room.

What You'll Need

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting

What You'll Do

• Lead the daily organisation and routines within the room
• Plan and deliver activities aligned with the EYFS framework
• Observe and record children's development and learning progress
• Maintain safeguarding, health, and safety standards
• Support and guide practitioners working within the room
• Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues
