The Centre

Our beautiful centre opened in September 2023. We are a 132-place centre, with 8 spacious, light-filled rooms. We also have a large multipurpose room available for all age groups to explore. We have 3 architecturally designed outdoor playgrounds that inspire adventure. Our large carpark is located directly in front of the centre for educators and families. Our Chef, with 9 years of experience within Guardian, always encourages educators to enjoy her delicious meals with the children.

The Opportunity

Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Leadership Team, you will enjoy:

• Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
• Leading and guiding teams in developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
• Documenting and sharing children's learning and development with families.
• Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.
• Participating in professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

To be considered, you will have:

• A completed Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards it)
• Prior experience in long day-care
• Previous leadership experience (highly desirable)
• Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
• Current Working with Children's Check
• Be an Australian Citizen or on PR
