Roadside Technician - Leicester (BH-30494)

Location: Leicester, England. Sector: Automotive. Salary: £36,400 basic, with overtime earnings can be as high as £60,000 per annum.

Role Overview

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Stay up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques

Requirements

• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent). Level 2 qualifications considered if qualified can demonstrate competence
• Minimum 3 years' experience within a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points or bans
• Demonstrated technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
