Mobile Vehicle Technician

Salary: £41,600.00 to £60,000.00 per annum (basic £41,600, overtime up to £60,000)

Hours: 40 hours per week, shift patterns Monday to Sunday, earliest start time 6am, latest finish time 12am. Overtime available at time and a half.

Role Overview

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Requirements

• Level 3-qualified Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent). Level 2-qualified considered if demonstrated.
• Minimum 3 years' experience within a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Technician.
• A full UK driving licence - no more than 9 points or bans on the licence.
• Demonstrated technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience.
