The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is the organisation through which the Mayor of London exercises his role as the Police and Crime Commissioner for London and is led by the Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime. MOPAC undertakes a broad range of statutory duties and works closely with the Mayor of London, Deputy Mayor and Metropolitan Police Service to deliver the priorities that will create safer London communities.
We are looking for a highly analytical and motivated Risk and Portfolio Coordinator to join our Risk Assurance, Priority Projects, Planning & Performance (RAPP) team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in shaping how MOPAC understands and manages risk and performance. You will be responsible for developing dashboards, analysing complex data, and generating clear, actionable insight to support senior leaders and governance forums.
Working closely with the Corporate Risk Manager and Planning and Performance Manager, you will help ensure a single, reliable source of truth for corporate risk and portfolio performance. You will also engage with stakeholders across the organisation to improve the quality, consistency and effectiveness of risk and performance reporting.
This role goes beyond reporting - you will apply analytical judgement to interpret data, identify trends and interdependencies, and support better decision-making. You will also contribute to strengthening organisational risk management capability, including improving frameworks, processes and behaviours across directorates.
Key Responsibilities- Play a key role in strengthening corporate risk oversight, governance and performance reporting across MOPAC.
- Develop and deliver high-quality dashboards and insights to support senior decision-making.
- Work across directorates to improve the quality, consistency and impact of risk and performance information.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk framework, reporting processes and organisational capability.
You will bring strong analytical and data skills, with experience of developing dashboards and working with complex datasets. You will be confident working with stakeholders, able to challenge and validate information constructively, and have a keen eye for detail.
You will also have a good understanding of risk management, governance or performance frameworks, enabling you to turn data into meaningful insight to support effective decision-making.
