Risk Analyst

We're hiring: Risk Analyst - Vehicle Leasing - Leuven

Do you have a passion for data-driven risk analysis combined with a strong interest in the automotive and leasing industry?

We are looking for a Risk Analyst to join a dynamic team based in Leuven!

In this role, you will play a crucial part in financial and risk decision-making processes within the vehicle leasing sector. You will work cross-functionally with finance, sales, and marketing teams, driving the development of residual value forecasts, credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD), and risk reporting that directly influences business strategies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting in-depth analysis of residual values and market trends

Developing forecasting models for credit risk and residual value risk

Leading RV risk meetings and contributing to risk-related projects

Producing periodic risk reports for management

Who we're looking for:

Master's or PhD in Business, Economics, Mathematics or similar

Experience in financial/leasing services, banking or insurance (min 5 years)

Strong background in credit risk models & statistical model building

Proficiency in SAS Enterprise Guide is essential; knowledge of STATA, Python, SQL is a plus

Fluent in English, with Dutch or French as a strong advantage
