Heat Merchants in Pouladuff, Cork, currently have an excellent opportunity for a Rigid Truck Driver to join the team. The successful candidate's primary responsibility is to safely transport and deliver goods to customers in a timely manner within the Cork and surrounding areas.

JOB SPECIFICATION

• Safely transport and deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
• Monitor customer's orders and ensure accurate deliveries.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and placing stock in correct physical locations; update inventory on the system.
• Report any damaged or faulty stock promptly and accurately.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in the stores area, ensuring walkways are clear and goods are correctly stored.
• Keep up to date with product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety rules and procedures.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

The following criteria will be used in the selection process. Only those applicants who meet the essential criteria will be shortlisted for interview. The Company reserves the right to initially shortlist those candidates who meet both essential and desirable criteria.

• Full, Clean Valid Driving License (C License required)
• Previous rigid driving experience
• Previous experience in driving a forklift
• Basic level of computer literacy
• Previous experience within the Heating/Plumbing or similar industry
• Hold a current forklift licence
• Current Safe Pass
