A north London local authority

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Revenue and Debt, the Revenue and Debt Service Manager will be managing and leading staff to achieve high performance and effective operational delivery.

You will have operational responsibility for a range of services within Revenue and Debt, including:

  1. Provision of customer services face-to-face, by telephone, and online web services
  2. Billing, collection, recovery, and enforcement
  3. Quality, control, policy, and procedures

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of Council Tax, Business Rates, and related regulations, as well as enforcement legislation.

It is essential to have a proven track record of achievement at management level within a large and complex organization, managing staff directly and indirectly.

What's on Offer

This initial 6-month temporary role offers an hourly rate of £31 (PAYE) and £40 (Umbrella).
