We are assisting a reputable award winning supermarket group to find their next trainee managers for one of their busy stores in South Dublin.

Location

The job is located in a busy affluent village in South County Dublin, on a good commuter belt and train line. The client preferably prefers a driver due to opening and closing times. It is within a 10-15 minute drive of Co. Wicklow, Blackrock, Sandyford and surrounding areas.

Starting Salary

Euro - per annum, with room for progression.

Requirements

• Ambitious shop assistant, supervisor or trainee manager with a good length of service and experience in retail, comfortable working in a busy grocery supermarket or convenience store environment; knowledge of HACCP and customer service preferred.
• Passion for grocery retail and interacting with the general public.
• Good organisational skills.
• Able to work within a team and take initiative independently.
• Flexible with weekly rosters, willing to work early mornings and late evenings.

Responsibilities

• Support senior managers with daily administrative tasks.
• Work across various departments (Sales, HR, Finance, Operations) to understand the business as a whole.
• People management: develop and coach teams, learn performance management, conflict resolution, motivation, rota planning, etc.
• Deliver excellent customer service, enhance customer experience through training, resolve complaints, and train staff to increase industry knowledge.
