We are currently recruiting on behalf of a fast growing convenience retail group with multiple thriving locations across Munster. This store is located just 35 minutes drive away from Limerick city and is based in a busy thriving town in Tipperary. This job provides an excellent opportunity for a hands on Retail Manager who enjoys making decisions, leading from the front, and having an active part in community retailing.

Fresh Foods is at the forefront of our clients business. We're looking for a reliable, proven hands on retail manager, adaptable, with a strong track record in retail, solid food safety knowledge, and a passion for delivering high standards, particularly in areas surrounding the deli and bakery operations in the store.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 2+ years' experience in retail store management, ideally a convenience food shop.
• Strong stock control and inventory management skills, confident placing daily orders for fresh foods as well.
• Proven ability to organise, lead, and motivate small teams.
• Comfortable managing teams of up to 5 staff per shift.
• Hands on, proactive, and confident in day to day decision making.

Responsibilities for this Retail Shop Manager Job:

• Oversee the efficient and smooth day to day operation of the store, ensuring consistent delivery of high standards across all departments.
• Work with the store owners, to drive the store's financial performance by maximising profitability and sales.
• Lead and develop the team under you, to deliver exceptional standards in merchandising, customer service, and hygiene, maintaining and enhancing the brand's reputation.
• Manage all HR and Health & Safety matters within the store, ensuring full compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and industry regulations.
