If so, at eXPD8 we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Northwich (CW9 5LY). You will be an integral part of a field based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Your primary responsibilities will be to ensure fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well stocked.
Employment DetailsConfirmed working days/hours: Wednesdays - 5 hours AM starts.
Must be able to drive as required to cover stores in the local area to make up extra hours. Additional ad hoc work as agreed.
Salary: £12.71 p/h. Must be able to work alone using a tablet to complete calls once fully trained.
Start date: 1 March 2026. Full induction will be provided beforehand.
ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Standards
- Adhere to merchandising standards, guidelines, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidance.
- Follow and implement planograms where provided, ensuring consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
Product Placement & Replenishment
- Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
Promotional & Point of Sale Setup
- Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
Communication & Relationship Building
- Build and maintain good working relationships with in store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
- Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application, acting as the eye and ear in the stores.
- Experience or passion for merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive ownership of work within set time frames, using initiative to find solutions.
- Commitment to delivering high standards and service for clients.
- Ability to perform light manual handling - moving and arranging products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
- Willingness to accept home deliveries of POS or stock items for some visits (extra pay applies).
- Confidence using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer task questions.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
