Our business mainly focuses on food & grocery, and uniquely, we source & process most of the fresh food we sell through our own manufacturing facilities.

Ensuring our stores are fully stocked is key to delivering a fantastic customer experience, which is why this role is so vital to our success. It's the job of our Trading Manager to provide the best availability and standards possible across all departments, ensuring they remain legal and safe.
Reporting into the Store Manager, you will also:

  • Lead the team to the highest standards and strive to ensure the best shopping experience for every customer who walks into our store
  • Plan and organize current promotions or in-store events
  • Listen and respond to customer feedback and react accordingly
  • Ensure market-leading availability across the store
  • Collaborate with other Managers to lead a supportive and performance-driven department
  • Manage all people routines, including scheduling, absence, performance, and talent development
  • Deliver training to empower the team to deliver their roles effectively
  • Motivate and lead colleagues to work confidently across various departments
  • Identify and develop talent within the department
  • Build effective relationships with other operational departments
  • Lead colleagues to work with purpose, achieving outstanding performance against targets
  • Take a leadership role within the store
  • Ensure resource planning is thorough and effective
