Retail Manager

About the Role

As Retail Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day to day running and overall performance of the store, while also supporting the wider retail operation in other locations when required.

This is a hands on leadership role where you'll be visible on the shop floor, driving sales, maintaining high standards, and leading your team from the front. You'll play a key part in delivering strong commercial results, efficient operations, and a consistently excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and drive sales activity to improve overall store performance
• Set clear targets and support the team in achieving them
• Lead from the front, motivating the team and maintaining high service standards
• Make sure customers receive a consistently good experience
• Deal with any issues or complaints quickly and professionally
• Build strong relationships with customers and regular clients
• Oversee the day to day running of the store
• Work closely with the service team to manage returns and ensure stock is processed correctly
• Keep stock levels in check and make the best use of retail space
• Recruit, train, and develop your team
• Carry out regular reviews and provide ongoing support and feedback
• Create a positive, productive working environment
• Ensure the store is operating in line with company policies and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment
• Keep up to date with industry trends and best practice

Skills & Experience

• Strong leadership and team management experience
• Confident communicator with good people skills
• Commercially aware with a problem solving mindset
• Comfortable using retail systems and stock control tools
• Background in sales/retail
• Ability to work under pressure

Working Coditions:

• Full time, requiring weekend work
