As Senior Store Manager you will manage one of the best stores in the country, located on the border of Co Wicklow and South Dublin, and you will be responsible for a front of house team of over 150 employees, including HODs and a highly regarded fresh food division. You will play a critical role in driving commercial performance, maintaining exceptional standards, and inspiring a high energy, customer focused team. We are looking for a proven retail leader who is also a community leader, with a passion for local sports or other community initiatives.

Package & Benefits

Salary: up to €75,000 €85,000 DOE, bonus, 25 days annual leave and other company perks.

Responsibilities for this Retail Store Manager Job

• Oversee the efficient and smooth day to day operation of the retail store, ensuring consistent delivery of high standards across all departments and premises.
• Drive the store's commercial performance by maximising profitability and sales while effectively controlling key cost areas such as waste, shrinkage and labour.
• Lead and develop the team to deliver exceptional standards in merchandising, customer service, and hygiene, maintaining and enhancing the brand's reputation.
• Manage all HR and Health & Safety matters within the store, ensuring full compliance with employment legislation, company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements for this Retail Store Manager Job

• Proven experience as a Retail Grocery Manager or senior Assistant Manager in a comparable retail supermarket environment, with a minimum of 5 years in senior grocery management.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead, develop and motivate teams including Assistant Managers, Supervisors, deli chargehands and other senior staff.
• Commercially astute, with a track record of identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth, managing costs effectively and leveraging supplier relationships to benefit the business.
• Solid working knowledge of Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP and Consumer Law.
